Password manager

Using a password manager increases security many times over and is preferable to standard methods of using and storing passwords. There are two basic types of managers, one is to store your passwords online, on a secure server, allowing you to access them no matter where you are. The other way is to install an application that keeps passwords locally on your computer.

Compromised account

There are several sites where anyone can check if their account has ever been hacked. Verification takes place after you enter your e-mail address in the verification field, then a verification takes place in pre-collected databases from the most popular sites on the Internet. If your account information has ever been stolen by a hacker, you'll get a message warning you that it's best to change your password for that account and best not to use it at all.
